The mighty Education team at the The Times Cheltenham Literature Festival (check me out with my sponsor-pleasing branding) commissioned me to run half hour sessions for schools to support the programme of author/illustrator events. The idea was the children could stay onsite longer and move about after all that sitting down on the coach or in events. It was also a good chance for me to work with pupils of all ages, as I've usually specialised in year 3 upwards before. They're all lovely!
This was the best horse though: Joey from 'Warhorse' nuzzling at the books in the other half of the tent. Mesmerising!
