Watch a session of Vibrant Laughter to see what happens!
Laughing is wonderful but life isn’t always hilarious. Laughter Yoga surmounts this challenge by treating laughter as an exercise, not requiring humour or conventional yoga stretches. By pretending to laugh during playful exchanges, genuine, contagious laughter often follows – try it and discover this for yourself!
Researchers have associated a good belly laugh with the production of endorphins, a reduction in stress and pain levels, benefits to heart and brain and such a good workout that it’s been called ‘internal jogging’! Sessions are structured around a series of joyful interactions, a liberating ‘freeflow’ laugh and a calming meditation. Hurray! Kate’s favourite sound is that of a room full of people laughing heartily together, which is why she qualified as a Certified Laughter Yoga Leader and made it part of her career to energise the population!
"I laugh... smile about it when I just think about the name, actually..." Richard Atkins, BBC Radio Gloucestershire, is impressed by the sound of Vibrant Laughter :-D
